THE EVENT

WEDNESDAY 23 SEPTEMBER
ROYAL LIVERPOOL

The two round competition begins over the historic links of Royal Liverpool. Founded in 1869, the course has always been ranked as one of the best in the country but recent developments, in preparation for the return of The Open in 2023, have taken it to another level. A real treat for any golfer.

THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER
WALLASEY

The action resumes for Round 2 at Wallasey. Created in 1891 by Old Tom Morris, this is a true links test and winds its way through impressive sand dunes, offering stunning views out across the Irish Sea and River Mersey. Every hole will on this delightful course will live long in the memory.

The Rules

> All competitors will play one round each day during the competition.
> The event is a 36 hole Stableford competition, and the player with the highest total score after two rounds will be declared the winner.
> Each round will be qualifying for handicap purposes.
> The event organisers reserve the right to amend the format of the competition should the number of entrants or weather conditions dictate.
> All entrants must be amateurs and members of recognised golf clubs, and hold an active or competitive handicap.
> Overseas entrants must provide proof of their exact handicap, which may be adjusted according to the Slope Rating of their home course.
> CDH numbers or handicap certificates must be provided before the start of the event.
> Entrants must be over the age of 18 on the date of the first round.
> Maximum handicap allowance is 24 for men and 36 for ladies – full handicap allowance is given.
> A draw will be produced for each days play, and the event will be played in 3 or 4 balls subject to numbers.
> Should any entrant wish to withdraw from the event, a full refund (less any charges incurred) will be guaranteed up until 2 months before the start date of the event. Withdrawals after this date will receive 50% of their entry fee, unless a replacement can be found.
