KING ROBERT THE BRUCE & AILSA COURSES AT TURNBERRY

36 HOLE PAIRS BETTERBALL STABLEFORD

As one of the world’s best golfing destinations, Turnberry needs no introduction. Our new 36 hole Links Cup Pairs competition features both outstanding courses at this incredible resort – the King Robert The Bruce and the Ailsa.

Those looking for an extended stay on Scotland’s west coast might want to add our Links Cup Pairs Ayrshire at Dundonald Links and Western Gailes to their itinerary. This event will be played later the same week, making for a fantastic 72 hole trip.

THE EVENT

MONDAY 7 OCTOBER
KING ROBERT THE BRUCE AT TURNBERRY

With Arran and Ailsa Craig providing the backdrop, the newly remodelled King Robert The Bruce course is already earning great reviews. Named after the King of Scotland who was born in Turnberry Castle and who triumphed at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314, the course features clever bunkering and beautiful swathes of gorse.

TUESDAY 8 OCTOBER
AILSA AT TURNBERRY

Having staged the Open on numerous occasions, most notably for ‘The Dual in the Sun’ between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson in 1977, and more recently the play-off battle between Stewart Cink and Tom in 2009, the iconic Ailsa course at Turnberry needs no introduction. It is quite simply a treat to walk on these famous fairways.
