BAMBURGH CASTLE

NORTHUMBERLAND

Founded in 1904 and designed by George Rochester, the course is famous for its unconventional and “old-fashioned” layout. It breaks the traditional mold immediately, opening with two challenging par-3s followed by two par-5s.

While not the longest course at 5,604 yards (Par 68), it demands precision and creativity. Golfers must navigate undulating terrain, natural rock outcrops, and gorse-lined fairways
