In a new Links Golf Salver event for 2020, we will be heading north to Castle Stuart – a magnificent test of golf situated just the length of a good par 5 from Inverness Airport. For a relatively new course, Castle Stuart has made an immediate impact in the golfing world – receiving plenty of worldwide acclaim and also staging a number of recent Scottish Opens.
With beautiful views over the Moray Firth to the hills and mountains beyond, your 2 days at Castle Stuart will live with you forever. It’s stunning layout and clever design prompted Phil Mickelson to say “It should almost be a prerequisite to play Castle Stuart before you’re allowed to design golf courses nowadays”.
Round One will get underway from mid-morning and our competitors will be able to take advantage of the fantastic practice facilities on offer and sample the delights of the iconic art-deco clubhouse before they head out to the first tee to tackle the course. Can you play well enough to post a good enough score to be in contention going into the all-important final round tomorrow?
Many golfers will know the feeling of coming off a course thinking ‘I wish I could play that again’ – well here is your chance. Will you learn from your mistakes? Will you improve on your score? Whatever happened yesterday has gone – the second round will provide another opportunity to take in the awesome views, to appreciate this highly rated course a bit more, and maybe even be in contention of the prizes.
We have teamed up with a local hotel to offer our Links Golf Salver competitors discounted room rates when staying in the area for the event. These preferential rates are only available when booking through Hybrid Golf, the event organisers, and not directly with the hotels themselves.
The Golf View is a luxury hotel in a historic building set right on the coastline in the town of Nairn – just 10 miles from Castle Stuart. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and the plush bedding will ensure that you get a great night’s sleep and recover ready to go again in the morning.
Rates for B&B vary depending on room options, email firstname.lastname@example.org for full details.
